Last month, the National Women’s Business Council published a great new infographic and accompanying highlights: “Women-Led Businesses: Growth and Impact”. Though at first the data worried me – only 17.5% of businesses are 51% owned by one or more women? NWBC went on to say that assessing businesses based on whether they are “women-led”, offers a better perspective of women’s huge entrepreneurial impact in various industries. Women are busy! If they own less than 51% of a company, they might have other leadership positions within their company and beyond (whether it be as an angel investor, CEO, or president). The infographic even follows the success of Lisa Price, Carol’s Daughter’s founder.

Check it out and let us know what you think!
