Come join CWiB for our first coffee hour of the spring semester! This week’s coffee hour will feature a Business Boot Camp in the Batza Room (Case 560). The boot camp will feature workshops on the essentials for applying to jobs and internships, writing cover letters and resumés, LinkedIn, networking, and more. We will also be Skyping with Advisory Board member Katherine McGarry ’09. This coffee hour is relevant to all class years; we love to see new faces! And of course, coffee and dessert will be provided. See you tomorrow at 8 in the Batza room!
Before the end of the semester, come by the Batza Room (Case 560) once more for a CWiB coffee hour. This week we will be Skyping with Alumni Board and Google employee, Debra Locastro at 8pm. Be sure to get there by 7:55! Deb will be there to help answer any questions about how we can make the most our of our winter break. Additionally, if you are interested in applying for an officer position within CWiB next semester, current officers will be in attendance to discuss their positions. Good luck with the last week of classes!
Join us for our November Coffee Hour tomorrow night at 6 pm in the Batza Room! CWiB invites you to participate in an interactive activity and discussion about communication and work styles. This will give members a better indication of what type of work environments are best for them, as well as how to better communicate with peers and coworkers in any situation. On the New York trip this September, seniors participated in a similar activity at Google called True Colors, which was extremely helpful in understanding not only ourselves, but others as well!
So come by the library (Batza Room – Case 560) for Oliveris, Dunkin’ Donuts, and fantastic discussion at 6 pm tomorrow night!
Please fill out the following survey to let us know if you can make it!
